Play Time

Kai loves going to the school in our housing tract and playing on the slides. He goes up the stairs and down the slide..over and over and over and over. He now says "no." We ask him if he pooped and he says "no" we ask him if he's cute and he nods his head yes. Crazy man is already a flirt. Here is a picture of him on the monkey bars.

This is funny..I seriously think we should hold them to it!

On a side note..I have had a few fun weeks at work with Prop 8. I understand fighting for our rights..but I don't think people realized when they had these protests nightly it forced my department to send units out there..which forced the rest of us to work short handed which is a MAJOR safety issue. With the fires and the protests we were forced to work with 1 to 3 units for my entire division..thank god there were no shootings..it sucked having it take 45 mins to respond to calls..and trying to explain to people why we took so long..but I guess it had to be done.

Update

Well we have been in our house almost 1 month and boy o boy is it far from being updated. So far we have had the ceiling in the entire house scraped..it's not totally smooth because it was 1960 acoustic..just our luck...we have had Kai's room and the master bedroom painted..and Nicole wants to change the color in the master..NICE...we also have had the downstairs living room painted..the entire house needs paint and new flooring because the linoleum needs to go!!! So everyone can feel our pain here are some pics:

Here is the wonderful kitchen..we have already knocked down the cabinets for a pass through but decided we are going to gut it and start all over again!

WOW

Wow I was finally able to set up the computer..in the front room! Our Office is still not ready..it is painted..but needs new carpet..hell the entire upstairs needs new carpet..especially the master..and I refuse to sleep in there until it has the new carpet! We have been doing a TON of things to the house and every day I'm off we have workers coming by the do even more stuff. I took a ton of pics of the before so as soon as I find them I'll post them.

Reason

Okay the reason behind not posting lately is as follows:
1) We sold our house
2) We are moving this weekend
3) Working 6 days in a row sucks ass
