8 days

I cannot believe we only have 8 days until his due date. Still nothing has changed.
I really want him out by the 4th so I don't have to work in the hot sun in my uniform at the beach..checking to make sure people don't bring beer to the beach. How crappy is that?

Almost

We just got back from yet another doctors appt. She was surprised to see us there. She thought for sure he would be out by now. Not much has changed, she is still 2cm dialated but is now 90% effaced. So it is really going to be any day now. She did manipulate her cervix this time to try to speed things up. That was realy nice to watch.

38 weeks and 2 days

Still no changes. Here is a shot of her belly..ready to explode.

Saturday Update

Nicole is now 2cm and 80% effaced...so we are still waiting!

Off to go night night. I am on day 4 of 7 tomorrow and I have to get up at 0530...

Update

Tomorrow is yet another doctors appt. So I will have a better update tomorrow night. I'm really hoping he doesn't come out until next Thurs. I am working 7 days in row! That is horrible for my job. God bless the LAPD.

Today wasn't too bad. I missed out on the guy who cut his penis to is rectum on purpose because he had erectile dysfunction. Needless to say that when you cut a femoral artery you die really quick. Gee I am sure glad I like women.

37 Weeks

Tomorrow will be 37 weeks. Time is starting to really fly by. We are still at 1cm and 80% effaced. The doctor did say he is starting to move down. I personally think he is going to be here on July 4th, because I get great OT that day and will loose out on it.

If anyone has any bets let me know.

Getting There

Well the doctors appt went well last Friday. She told Nicole she is 80% effaced and 1cm dialated. She doesn't think he is going to make it to the due date..but knowing our luck he will.

On a side note. Filing a stolen vehicle report so that you can activate your Lo-Jack in order to find your wife, who happens to be pissed of at you and turned her cell phone off...is not a good idea. Especially if we get a hit on it and find the car. Your wife and baby will be pulled out at gun point. Thankfully she was already home.

Boobie Nazi

Well 3 hours down and I'm surprised I ever made it to 35. According to our teacher if you don't breast feed then you are basically a walking time bomb for some sort of third world disease. My mom was told breast feeding is bad and not to do it. She didn't and I think I turned out pretty good, well minus my F'D up teeth and the fact that I seem to be on the bigger side.

After watching and hearing about milky boobs for 3 hours we were ready to come home and eat dinner. Of course the dogs had a blast while we were gone. It seems like they were able to gain entry into the patio and then decided to kill the baby opossum. In doing so they knocked out the pond tubing causing it to drain. Nice. Nicole then decides to pull out the pregnancy card about picking up a dead animal with the shovel. So I had to do it. Just because I see some nasty stuff at work doesn't mean I'm into nasty things at home.

Breast Feeding

Tonight is our first breast feeding class. The class is two Mondays 3 hours each. What can we possibly go over for 6 hours? I'm not dumb or anything but the last time I checked there are only two breasts, that each have two parts at the peak of the mountain if you know what I'm talking about. Knowing my luck 4 hours of it will be watching a ton of women whip out their huge breasts with areola that are the size of frisbees pretending to feed a fake baby.

35 Weeks

Today marks 35 weeks pregnant! We only have 5 more weeks until we get to meet our son! Hopefully time flies these last 35 days.

Work was super tough today and super sad. I knew it was going to be a long day when it started with a mom that all of sudden snapped and thought she was able to heal herself. She burnt her had severely and would not let anyone touch her because she has the powers to heal. Of course she called me satin. Whats up with that? Then our day ended with a death investigation that turned into a suicide investigation. An 89 year old lady was fed up with life and decided to end it all by shooting herself behind her ear with a .32 caliber handgun. To both my partner and myself it didn't seem instant enough. She left a note that she was ready to go, so she left.

Females rarely end their lives like this, especially 89 year old women. It's days like this I am grateful for my life...even if I am a little overweight! At least I am off for a few days so I can enjoy some of the warmer weather and look forward to all the media coverage about Paris Hilton heading to jail.
